Dr. Nathan A. Fischer

Dr. Nathan A. Fischer is board-certified in ophthalmology. He graduated from Colorado State University  with a bachelor of science, then continued to the University of Colorado School of Medicine for medical school. After completing his internal medicine internship at Brookwood Medical Center and his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, he continued on to his Vitreo-Retinal Surgery Fellowship with the Retina Consultants of Alabama/University of Alabama at Birmingham. During his last year of residency, he was selected by faculty and peers to serve as Chief Resident. He is licensed to practice medicine in North Carolina, and he is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retinal Specialists. Outside of medicine, Dr. Fischer enjoys spending quality time in the outdoors with his family.
